Sauna Whisk — Birch

The classic Finnish sauna whisk. Hand-tied from fresh birch branches and carefully dried, this is the vihta (or vasta in Eastern Finland) that has been part of the sauna ritual for centuries.

Rehydrate in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then gently strike the skin from shoulders to feet — the leaves release a sweet, grassy birch aroma while stimulating circulation, exfoliating and opening pores. Birch is unmatched for scent and stays supple through a full session.
