Our Story
Aalto exists because we couldn't buy the sauna we wanted — so we learned to build it. What began as a single hand-built cabin has become a craft: saunas designed in Ireland, rooted in Finnish tradition, and built to last decades rather than seasons. Clean lines, honest timber, and heat that sits just right.

Where we started, The Hot Box Saunas
Before Aalto, there was a problem: the saunas we wanted didn't exist here. Beautiful in the brochure, disappointing in the timber. So we built our own — by hand, learning as we went, refining every joint and bench and vent until it was right. That first build became the heat behind everything that followed.
Years on, those same saunas now run day in, day out across our own wellness sites — used by thousands of people, in Irish weather, under real wear. That's the difference: we don't just sell saunas, we live in them. Every flaw gets found, and every fix makes the next build better.
