Sauna Whisk — Oak

For those who like their sauna traditions a bit more robust. Oak vihtas are firmer, longer-lasting and more forgiving than birch, and release a deeper, tannin-rich woody aroma when they meet the heat. Popular in the Baltic and Eastern European sauna traditions.

How to use

• Rehydrate the whisk in warm water for 5–10 minutes before entering the sauna
• Beat rhythmically from shoulders down to feet — oak takes a firmer stroke than birch without shedding
• Each vihta typically gives you 2–3 sauna sessions

Hand-tied from freshly cut branches and carefully dried.
