Sauflex Jadeite Sauna Stones — 10–15 cm, 15 kg rounded (per bag)

Jadeite is prized in Finnish saunas for one simple reason: it holds heat like almost nothing else. Denser than the more common olivine diabase, a bag of Sauflex jadeite will keep a stove throwing out radiant warmth long after the elements have switched off — and gives you that silky, soft löyly when you throw water over them.

These are the rounded 10–15 cm stones, tumble-finished so they pack tightly around your heater with minimal air gaps and airflow dead-spots. A 15 kg bag typically dresses a mid-sized electric or wood-burning stove. If you're topping up an existing heater, aim to replace all the stones at once every 2–3 years — micro-cracks build up over time and reduce heat transfer.
